Going to have to try this exercise in my next workshop. The Love Letter and the Break up letter to a product. This exercise allows people to express their sentiments about a product or service using a medium immediately understood. The love letter – moments of delight, loyalty. Why people stay with a product rather than the competitive products. The Break-up letter – how, when and where the relationship broke down? Used to gain insights about why people abandon a product or a brand. Spend no more than 10 minutes writing the letter. Notice the language the writer uses to describe their feelings about the brand and the product, these can even help you in your next communications strategy (if the words were positive that is 🙂
